For Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge, I had to dig back into the archives (okay, so only a couple of years) to find this photo I took at Pioneer Place during the holidays. The mall is three stories tall with a skylight roof, and hanging over the escalator were these silver balls. I just had to take a B&W. If you look closely, you may be able to see me. 🙂
Swan Island Dahlias is a farm in Canby, Oregon that raises the most magnificent flowers. If you are in the area, you really must make a point to go visit in the late summer. Their annual Dahlia Festival just concluded, but the fields are still open for viewing. For some stunning photos and information about the festival, look here.
