Philanthropic Art Winners

I recently created a fun poster using a dog image from the X-Treme Air dog show at the state fair. I will be donating the proceeds of this image to Chase Away K9 Cancer. It got me wondering how many others use their art to raise money and awareness for their cause.  I decided to host a contest on Fine Art America and make this the criteria for entry. The prizes would be promotion on my blog and social media pages.

The poster that inspired me can be found here.

And here are our winners!

First place:

Proceeds donated to shelter for refugee abused women.

Photography Prints

Second Place:

Art for a Cause

I was inspired by the canine athletes I saw at the Oregon State Fair to create a motivational print. Proceeds from the sale of any related items will go to Chase Away K9 Cancer.

One of the pups from the X-Treme Air Dogs show at the Oregon State Fair.

Check it out here. Watermark does not appear on the final product.
