A few years ago I went to see my daughter in Colorado. She and her boyfriend took me up to St. Elmo to try to capture the last of the fall color and take pictures of the ghost town. While I was there, I found these old outhouses.
This is my submission to Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge.

Oh how perfect are these photos for this week. These outhouses have both seen better days.

Great photos. My blogging friend Carol from the Eternal Traveller https://theeternaltraveller.wordpress.com/2021/02/14/getting-back-to-nature/ has tons of posts called a Loo with a View. These photos would fit that description perfectly. Colorado is a beautiful place. π

My first husband and I lived in Colorado Springs when he was in Bible College. I missed the ocean, but fell in love with it after the first winter was over. It was a fun place to live.

My daughter is hooked. She loves the sun, and the snow. She’s taken up skiing. I don’t think I’ll ever get her back to Oregon for more than a visit.

We moved from Oregon to CS. I would have moved back to OR, but when my husband finished school, he found a church in sunny CA. I moved from there to AZ just three months ago. I love all four places, though. I’m originally from flat, cold Indiana. π
