Here are my entries to Cee’s latest B&W Photo Challenge – Water.
This year has been tough for me. The highlights have all revolved around connections. It’s nice to go back and re-visit those.
Our May trip to the Utah National Parks was filled with upward motion. This is a photo of the switchback “Walter’s Wiggles” on the way up to Angels Landing in Zion. Those little spots of color between the trees are people near the top of the switchback.
Props to these random strangers for posing for my photo. 🙂
I think I exceeded 20,000 steps on each day of this trip!
I haven’t played along with Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge in a while. This week’s challenge looks pretty easy – anything with “O” in it. (Next week’s will take some more thought and planning.) Here are my choices:

While in San Antonio last spring, I noticed this dapper older man waiting on a bench. He caught my eye, and I snapped a picture. Look at the shine on those shoes!

I was kayaking around the local mill pond in the spring and startled this white heron. I managed to catch its graceful lift-off. .
