This black bear stood up and gazed out toward visitors at Cades Cove in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This is part of an adventure I took my mom on to celebrate her 75th birthday. This is my submission to the Square Up Photo Challenge, day 27.

Fall color at Samaritan’s Japanese Gardens, located behind Boulder Falls Inn in Lebanon.
The Oregon Coast is a funny place. It can be windy and cold in the summer and calm and sunny in the winter. I’ve spent more than a few New Years’ here and had beautiful blue skies like these. This was a great way to send of 2018.
Mr. A and I recently took a trip to Salt Lake City. We went to see a concert, but we also hit the streets and saw a lot of the city and surrounding areas. Our first night there we enjoyed the beautiful display of Christmas lights all around the city and especially in Temple Square.
I haven’t posted photos in a while. I’ve been busy teaching and getting actual prints ready to put in our local gallery. They are now up, and I’m thrilled to see them displayed in public!
