I haven’t played along with Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge in a while. This week’s challenge looks pretty easy – anything with “O” in it. (Next week’s will take some more thought and planning.) Here are my choices:
Now she walks in quiet solitude the forest and the streams
Seeking grace in every step she takes
Her sight has turned inside herself to try and understand
The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake.
(Technically, a beaver pond, but you get the picture. Lyrics from my soul song, Colorado Rocky Mountain High, by John Denver.)
While in San Antonio last spring, I noticed this dapper older man waiting on a bench. He caught my eye, and I snapped a picture. Look at the shine on those shoes!
This is my contribution to the Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge entitled Waiting.
Here are my submissions to Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge:
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo prompt: shadow
I was kayaking around the local mill pond in the spring and startled this white heron. I managed to catch its graceful lift-off. .
It was nice to go back through some old shots for this week’s challenge – open topic.
Thanks for the challenge, Cee!
